...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Texas...

  Little Cypress Bayou Near Jefferson affecting Gregg, Marion,
  Upshur and Harrison Counties.

For the Little Cypress Bayou...including Jefferson...Minor flooding
is forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Do not drive cars through flooded areas.
Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Little Cypress Bayou near Jefferson.

* WHEN...Until late Sunday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, Expect minor lowland flooding to continue
  for several days.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 10:15 AM CDT Friday the stage was 13.8 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 13.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 10:15 AM CDT Friday was 14.4 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.8
    feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage
    tomorrow afternoon.
  - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    13.7 feet on 06/11/1991.

  at the Sabine River bridge.  Expect major flooding to continue for
  several more days.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:15 AM CDT Friday the stage was 35.4 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 25.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 9:15 AM CDT Friday was 35.4 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 38.2
    feet early Sunday afternoon.
  - Flood stage is 26.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    38.3 feet on 01/28/1938.

...OZONE ACTION DAY IN EFFECT FOR [Day of the Week]...

The Texas Commission of Environmental Quality (TCEQ) has declared
an Ozone Action Day for the Tyler...Longview...Marshall areas of
east Texas for Friday, June 7th.

Atmospheric conditions are expected to be favorable for producing
high levels of ozone pollution in the Tyler-Longview area on
Friday. You can help prevent ozone pollution by sharing a ride,
walking or riding a bicycle, taking your lunch to work, avoiding
drive- through lanes, conserving energy, and keeping your vehicle
properly tuned.

If required...the next Ozone Action Day notice will be issued by
300 pm on Saturday, June 8th.
