This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of west central
Texas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

A Heat Advisory remains in effect for much of West Central Texas
through this afternoon as hot temperatures combine with high
humidities to increase the risk of heat related illnesses.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

These hot temperatures and high humidity conditions will continue
through the week and into the weekend. The Heat Advisory may need
to be extended into at least Friday for portions of the area.
Limit the time that you spend outside during the hottest parts of
the day.

* WHAT...Heat index values up to 108

* WHERE...Coke, Concho, Fisher, Irion, Jones, Nolan, Runnels,
  Sterling, Taylor, and Tom Green Counties.

* WHEN...Until 7 PM CDT this evening.

* IMPACTS...Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat
  illnesses.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Heat Advisory means that hot weather conditions are occurring or
expected. This will create a situation in which heat illnesses are
possible.

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.

Never, ever, leave children or pets alone in enclosed vehicles, not
even for a few minutes. Car interiors can reach lethal temperatures
in a matter of minutes.
