...HEAT ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 PM CDT TUESDAY...

* WHAT...Heat index values up to 108.

* WHERE...Portions of south central and southwest Arkansas, north
  central and northwest Louisiana, southeast Oklahoma, and east and
  northeast Texas.

* WHEN...Until 7 PM CDT Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat
  illnesses.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

To reduce risk during outdoor work, the Occupational Safety and
Health Administration recommends scheduling frequent rest breaks in
shaded or air conditioned environments. Anyone overcome by heat
should be moved to a cool and shaded location. Heat stroke is an
emergency! Call 9 1 1.

...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Texas...

  Sabine River Near Beckville affecting Rusk, Panola, Gregg and
  Harrison Counties.

For the Sabine River...including Mineola, Hawkins, Gladewater,
Longview, Beckville, Logansport...Minor flooding is forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Do not drive cars through flooded areas.
Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL EARLY TOMORROW AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Sabine River near Beckville.

* WHEN...Until early tomorrow afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 26.0 feet, Expect lowland flooding of the heavily
  wooded floodplain. In addition, oil field operations in and near
  the floodplain will be affected and steps should be taken to
  secure petroleum equipment.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:45 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 26.5 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 25.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 9:45 AM CDT Sunday was 27.3 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    this evening and continue falling to 11.5 feet Friday
    morning.
  - Flood stage is 26.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    26.7 feet on 03/30/2018.

TUESDAY...

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

A Heat Advisory is now in effect today, as heat index values will
climb over 105 degrees into the afternoon hours.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

The Heat Advisory will remain in effect until Tuesday, as very little
change is expected in anticipated heat index values. This Heat
Advisory will likely be extended in the coming days, as heat index
values could remain over 105 degrees or most of the week.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
