Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms are expected this afternoon through early evening as tropical moisture continues to increase across the region. The strongest storms may contain gusty winds and brief heavy rainfall, but organized severe weather is not anticipated. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday. More scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected Tuesday into Wednesday. The greatest coverage of showers and thunderstorms will generally be from the early afternoon through the evening each day.
