This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Arkansas,
southwest Arkansas, north central Louisiana, northwest Louisiana,
southeast Oklahoma, east Texas and northeast Texas.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms are expected this
afternoon through early evening as tropical moisture continues to
increase across the region. The strongest storms may contain gusty
winds and brief heavy rainfall, but organized severe weather is not
anticipated.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

More scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected Tuesday into
Wednesday. The greatest coverage of showers and thunderstorms will
generally be from the early afternoon through the evening each day.
Locally gusty winds and brief heavy rainfall will be possible in the
strongest storms, but organized severe weather is not anticipated.

  Neches River Near Alto affecting Houston, Trinity, Anderson and
  Cherokee Counties.

...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Texas...

  Neches River Near Neches affecting Houston, Anderson and Cherokee
  Counties.

  Neches River Near Diboll affecting Trinity, Houston, Angelina,
  Tyler and Polk Counties.

For the Neches River...including Neches, Alto, Diboll...Minor
flooding is forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Do not drive cars through flooded areas.
Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Neches River near Neches.

* WHEN...Until Saturday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, Minor lowland flooding.  Move livestock
  and equipment to higher ground away from the river.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:30 AM CDT Monday the stage was 14.0 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 12.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 8:30 AM CDT Monday was 14.4 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    early Saturday morning and continue falling to 11.9 feet
    Saturday morning.
  - Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    14.0 feet on 12/28/2013.

  completely inundated.

  - At 9:15 AM CDT Monday the stage was 17.7 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 16.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 9:15 AM CDT Monday was 18.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    Thursday afternoon and continue falling to 14.9 feet Saturday
    morning.
  - Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    17.8 feet on 03/30/2018.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Angelina River near Lufkin.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 165.0 feet, Expect flooding to continue for several
  days with the majority of the gravel access roadway flooded.
  Boaters and four wheel-operators should use caution traversing
  both upstream and downstream on the Angelina River as currents can
  become swift and turbulent.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:15 AM CDT Monday the stage was 163.7 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 158.5 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 9:15 AM CDT Monday was 164.1 feet.
  - Forecast...The river will continue to slowly fall through
    this week.
  - Flood stage is 161.0 feet.
  - Flood History...No available flood history.
