EVENING...

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

A Heat Advisory remains in effect for the entire Four State Region
today. High humidity, combined with afternoon temperatures ranging
from the mid 90s to near 100 degrees, will result in heat index
values between 105 to 109 degrees. In addition to the heat,
widespread showers and thunderstorms are expected to return to the
region during the afternoon and evening hours. These storms could
produce some strong wind gusts and brief heavy rainfall.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Additional rain chances may linger across portions of the region on
Thursday, but dry conditions will return across the region Friday and
Saturday. However, widespread rain chances will return on Monday, followed
by a return of drier conditions on Tuesday. Despite possible periods
of rain between Thursday and early next week, more heat headlines
will be likely during this period, as heat index values are expected
return to over 105 degrees.
