...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Texas...

  Neches River Near Diboll affecting Trinity, Houston, Angelina,
  Polk and Tyler Counties.

For the Neches River...including Lake Palestine, Neches, Alto,
Diboll, Rockland...Minor flooding is forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Do not drive cars through flooded areas.
Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL FRIDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Neches River near Diboll.

* WHEN...Until Friday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 12.0 feet, Minor lowland flooding occurs.  Expect
  flooded boat ramps and trails.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 7:15 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 12.3 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 12.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 7:15 PM CDT Wednesday was 12.5 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    early tomorrow afternoon and continue falling to 9.4 feet
    Monday evening.
  - Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    12.2 feet on 04/04/2017.

...HEAT ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 10 AM THIS MORNING TO 7 PM CDT THIS
EVENING...

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

A Heat Advisory remains in effect for the entire Four State Region
today. High humidity, combined with afternoon temperatures ranging
from the mid 90s to near 100 degrees, will result in heat index
values between 105 to 109 degrees. In addition to the heat,
widespread showers and thunderstorms are expected to return to the
region during the afternoon and evening hours. These storms could
produce some strong wind gusts and brief heavy rainfall.


.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Additional rain chances may linger across portions of the region on
Thursday, but dry conditions will return across the region Friday and
Saturday. However, widespread rain chances will return on Monday, followed
by a return of drier conditions on Tuesday. Despite possible periods
of rain between Thursday and early next week, more heat headlines
will be likely during this period, as heat index values are expected
return to over 105 degrees.
