...HEAT ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 1 PM TO 7 PM CDT SATURDAY...

* WHAT...Heat index values up to 111 expected.

* WHERE...A portion of south central Texas including the I-35
  Corridor and Coastal Plains.

* WHEN...From 1 PM to 7 PM CDT Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat
  illnesses.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out
of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.

Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose
fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early
morning or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat
exhaustion and heat stroke.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for South-Central Texas..

.DAY ONE...Today And Tonight.

A Heat Advisory is in effect this afternoon for locations along
and east of the I35 corridor with heat index values of 108 to 112
degrees expected in this area.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

Maximum heat index values of 108 to 112 degrees are forecast each
afternoon for portions of the Coastal Plains, I-35 Corridor, and
Rio Grande Plains through the next week. There remains a
potential for additional Heat Advisories for parts of those areas
each afternoon through next week.
