...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Texas...
Neches River Near Diboll affecting Polk, Tyler, Trinity, Houston
and Angelina Counties.
For the Neches River...including Lake Palestine, Neches, Alto,
Diboll, Rockland...Moderate flooding is forecast.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Do not drive cars through flooded areas.
Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

* WHEN...Until further notice.
* IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, Lowland flooding will slowly decrease for
the next several days.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:15 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 15.2 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 12.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 8:15 PM CDT Thursday was 15.2 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall to 13.6 feet Tuesday
evening.
- Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
15.2 feet on 03/30/1990.

several homes in the Green Rich Shores Subdivision in Walker
County flood and water covers Thomas Lake Road. The lowest
buildings off FM 980 northwest of Riverside flood.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 7:30 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 137.2 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 133.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 7:30 PM CDT Thursday was 137.2 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 137.3
feet tomorrow morning.
- Flood stage is 133.5 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
137.5 feet on 05/29/2016.
