This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for South-Central Texas..

.DAY ONE...Today And Tonight.

Potential Tropical Cyclone One located in the Gulf of Mexico
brings tropical moisture to the area today with moderate to heavy
rainfall expected. Average amounts range from 1 to 4 inches with
locally higher totals possible which may cause isolated flooding.
Although drought conditions in area streams could help minimize
flooding impacts, some locations are expected to experience
dangerous run- off conditions with rapid rises in streams and
creeks possible, especially in the southern portion of the area.
A Flood Watch is in effect for the southern portions of the area
today and tonight.

A brief isolated tornado may be possible through tonight across the
coastal plains.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

A Flood Watch continues through Thursday for the southern portions
of the area where continued tropical moisture may bring moderate
to heavy rainfall which could cause isolated flooding.

...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 7 AM CDT THIS MORNING THROUGH
THURSDAY AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
  possible.

* WHERE...A portion of south central Texas, including the following
  counties, Atascosa, De Witt, Dimmit, Frio, Gonzales, Karnes,
  Lavaca, Maverick, Wilson and Zavala.

* WHEN...From 7 AM CDT this morning through Thursday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Average rainfall totals from 1.5 to 3 inches with isolated
    totals in excess of 4 inches.
