Widespread showers and thunderstorms continue today as deep moisture remains in place over the region. These storms will be capable of producing heavy rain, frequent lightning, gusty winds, and hail. These storms could linger well into the overnight hours. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday. Drier air begins to push in for Tuesday, bringing a decrease in both storm coverage and intensity. Storms will most favor the higher terrain during the afternoon hours. Look for quieter, warmer, and drier weather Wednesday onward. A return of low humidities and breezy conditions will bring the potential for critical fire weather conditions late week and into the weekend. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation may be needed today. $$
