This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for north central North Carolina,
central Virginia, south central Virginia and west central Virginia.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Hazardous weather is not expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Scattered thunderstorms will be possible Sunday Night and Monday as
well as on Thursday. A few of these storms could become strong to
severe with damaging wind gusts being the main hazard.

Heat indices are expected to reach the 100-103 level Saturday
afternoon and possibly again Sunday afternoon in some locations. The
greatest concern for excessive heat will be within the larger urban
areas such as Lynchburg, Danville, and Reidsville.
