Virginia, east central Virginia, eastern Virginia, north central
Virginia, south central Virginia and southeast Virginia.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

There is a marginal to slight risk of severe thunderstorms this
evening into tonight. The primary threat is damaging wind gusts.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Heat returns this weekend with high temperatures in the mid 90s and
peak heat indices in excess of 100 degrees.

...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT EAST CENTRAL LOUISA...NORTHERN
CAROLINE AND NORTHWESTERN HANOVER COUNTIES THROUGH 1045 PM EDT...

At 956 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Bumpass, or 13 miles southeast of Mineral, moving northeast at 30
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

This strong thunderstorm will be near...
  Ladysmith around 1015 PM EDT.

Other locations impacted by this storm include Chilesburg,
Rappahannock Academy, Golansville, Villboro, Guinea, Corbin,
Coatesville, Hewlett, Noel, and Beaverdam.
