This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of northeast
Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

The risk of severe thunderstorms decreased during the afternoon
and evening. There still remains a small chance a few strong to
severe thunderstorms overnight over the I-35 corridor and
northwest Wisconsin. Large hail up to ping pong ball size is the
primary threat. There is a small risk of damaging wind gusts of 60
mph and a very small risk of a brief, weak tornado.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday

There is a very small chance of a few strong storms over
northwest Wisconsin before 11 AM Monday. The chance of strong to
severe storms will increase once again Monday evening into early
Tuesday morning over northern Minnesota. Large hail up to ping
pong ball size will be the main threat initially. Storms may
become capable of damaging wind gusts by early Tuesday morning.

There is another chance of strong to severe storms Tuesday
afternoon through Tuesday night over northeast Minnesota and
northwest Wisconsin. Large hail to half dollar coin size and
damaging wind gusts to 70 mph will be the main threats. There is a
very small risk of a few weak, brief tornadoes.

Several rounds of heavy rain are expected Monday through
Wednesday morning and flash flooding is possible, especially from
the Brainerd Lakes to the Iron Range and southeast. A Flood Watch
is in effect for the areas under the greatest risk of flooding.

...FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT FROM MONDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH WEDNESDAY
MORNING...

* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.

* WHERE...In Minnesota, Crow Wing, Pine, South Itasca, Carlton,
  central and southern St. Louis, Aitkin and Cass Counties and
  Wisconsin, Burnett, Douglas and Washburn Counties. This includes
  the Tribal Lands of the Fond du Lac Band, the St. Croix Band in
  Burnett County, the Bois Forte Band, Lake Vermilion area and the
  Mille Lacs Band, East Lake, Big Sandy Lake, Hinckley and, Lena
  Lake areas.

* WHEN...From Monday afternoon through Wednesday morning.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
  Extensive street flooding and flooding of creeks and rivers are
  possible.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Showers and thunderstorms are expected to bring heavy rain
    Monday through Tuesday, with localized areas receiving over 3
    inches of rain. This will fall on top of already saturated
    soils and rivers with normal to above normal streamflow. The
    heaviest rain is expected Monday evening and through the day
    Tuesday.
