This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of northeast
Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Significant flooding continues across portions of the Iron Range,
Borderlands, and inland areas of the Arrowhead of northeast
Minnesota, including the Cloquet River. While water levels have
begun to recede, some larger rivers will not crest for another day
or two.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

With water levels still elevated, flooding will remain a concern
across northeast Minnesota with the potential for further rain
chances this upcoming week.

Thunderstorms will be possible Thursday and Friday, but are not
anticipated to become severe at this time.

Skywarn spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.

...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 645 AM CDT THIS
MORNING FOR NORTHERN PRICE, SOUTHERN ASHLAND, SAWYER AND
NORTHEASTERN WASHBURN COUNTIES...

At 151 AM CDT Tuesday, local law enforcement reported standing flood
waters slowly draining in the city of Hayward. Between 1.75 and 2.75
inches of rain fell earlier Monday night, but has since ended.
Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is
expected. Flash flooding is already occurring.

HAZARD...Flash flooding is ongoing.

SOURCE...Law enforcement reported. There are also public reports
         of water over roadways in the city of Hayward and along
         US 63 in the vicinity of Hayward.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
         highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
         drainage and low-lying areas.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Park Falls, Hayward, Chippewa Flowage East, Chippewa Flowage West,
  Phillips, Round Lake, Fifield, Butternut, Winter, Radisson,
  Exeland, Couderay, New Post, Glidden, Chief Lake on Chippewa
  Flowage, Little Round Lake, Springbrook, Ojibwa, Loretta and
  Blaisdell Lake.

Other parts of eastern Sawyer County, northern Price County and far
southern Ashland County are also expected to have flooding
conditions due to earlier heavy rain that has since ended.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
