This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central
Minnesota...east central Minnesota...south central Minnesota...
southeast Minnesota...southwest Minnesota...west central
Minnesota and west central Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

River flooding along the Minnesota and Mississippi Rivers
continues with moderate or major flood stage observed during the
crests. Recent rainfall will have minimal impact on the river
crests, but may prolong the length of flooding.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

Locally heavy rain and isolated strong to severe storms are
expected Monday night into Tuesday, which could locally exacerbate
ongoing flooding next week. Additional heavy rain is possible
Thursday into Friday.

and Wisconsin...

  Cottonwood River at New Ulm affecting Brown County.

  Cottonwood River Above Springfield affecting Brown County.

  Minnesota River at Montevideo affecting Chippewa, Yellow Medicine
  and Lac qui Parle Counties.

  Minnesota River at New Ulm affecting Brown, Nicollet and Blue
  Earth Counties.

  Minnesota River at Henderson MN19 affecting Scott, Le Sueur and
  Sibley Counties.

  Minnesota River at Morton affecting Renville and Redwood Counties.

  Mississippi River at St. Paul affecting Ramsey, Dakota and
  Washington Counties.

  Redwood River near Redwood Falls affecting Redwood County.

  Minnesota River at Mankato affecting Nicollet and Blue Earth

...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Minnesota...

  Cannon River at Northfield affecting Dakota and Rice Counties.

.Quiet weather conditions over the next 24-36 hours will continue to
aid in gradually decreasing river levels. An active weather pattern
arrives this week which could bring another 1 to 2.5 inches of
rainfall over the next several days. The first wave of precipitation
arrives Monday night into Tuesday. This impact will certainly slow
river level decline. Depending on where the heaviest rain sets up,
increases in river levels are possible.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL LATE THURSDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
  forecast.

* WHERE...St Croix River at Stillwater.

* WHEN...Until late Thursday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 89.0 feet, The city park in Bayport begins flooding.
  Lake Mallalieu dam gates overtopped.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1015 AM CDT Sunday, the stage was 88.0 feet.
  - The river is continuing to rise and nearing crest.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 88.1
    feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below
    flood stage Wednesday afternoon.
  - Flood stage is 87.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    87.9 feet on 06/28/1993.
