Minnesota...northeast Iowa and southwest into central Wisconsin.

Flooding continues along some area rivers. Please see the latest

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

Flooding will continue along some area rivers. Please see the
latest flood statements for additional details.

Storm chances increase early Friday morning, lasting into
Saturday night. Some strong to severe storms are possible Friday
afternoon and evening with damaging winds as the primary threat.

Storm chances return Monday into Tuesday. It is too early to
discern any potential severe weather risk at this time.

...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Wisconsin...Minnesota...Iowa...

  Mississippi River at Lake City affecting Wabasha, Goodhue and
  Pepin Counties.

  Mississippi River at Guttenberg Dam 10 affecting Grant and
  Clayton Counties.

  Mississippi River at La Crosse affecting Vernon, Houston and La
  Crosse Counties.

  Mississippi River at McGregor affecting Grant, Crawford,
  Allamakee and Clayton Counties.

  Mississippi River at Winona affecting Trempealeau, Winona and
  Buffalo Counties.

  Mississippi River at Wabasha affecting Wabasha and Buffalo
  Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

  forecast.

* WHERE...Mississippi River at Winona.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, Lock and Dam 5A goes out of operation.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 10:45 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 14.6 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 13.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 10:45 AM CDT Thursday was 14.6 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 16.0
    feet Monday evening.
  - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    16.0 feet on 04/01/1920.
