The risk for severe weather is low, although heavy rainfall will be a concern over central, north-central, and far northeast Wisconsin. Localized flooding will be possible. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Saturday Showers and thunderstorms will linger across the area Sunday morning, with locally heavy rainfall as the main risk. Another chance for thunderstorms is expected late Sunday afternoon into Sunday night. Some storms may become severe with damaging winds, hail, and locally heavy rainfall the main threats. Strong currents and high waves will create dangerous swimming conditions at beaches along Lake Michigan Sunday and Sunday night. Well above average temperatures are expected Sunday through Tuesday. Afternoon heat indices will surpass 90 degrees at times. The combination of heat and humidity will result in continued chances for thunderstorms Monday through Wednesday.
