This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southeast
Minnesota...northeast Iowa and southwest into central Wisconsin.

Flooding continues along some area rivers. Please see the latest
flood statements for additional details.

Storm chances increase this morning, lasting into tonight. Some
strong to severe storms are possible Friday afternoon and evening
with damaging winds and hail the primary threats.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

Flooding will continue along some area rivers. Please see the
latest flood statements for additional details.

Storm chances return Monday into Tuesday and again next Thursday.
It is too early to discern any potential severe weather risk at
this time.

...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Minnesota...Wisconsin...Iowa...

  Mississippi River at Lake City affecting Pepin, Goodhue and
  Wabasha Counties.

  Mississippi River at Guttenberg Dam 10 affecting Grant and
  Clayton Counties.

  Mississippi River at La Crosse affecting Houston, La Crosse and
  Vernon Counties.

  Mississippi River at McGregor affecting Grant, Crawford,
  Allamakee and Clayton Counties.

  Mississippi River at Winona affecting Trempealeau, Winona and
  Buffalo Counties.

  Mississippi River at Wabasha affecting Wabasha and Buffalo
  Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE...

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
  forecast.

* WHERE...Mississippi River at La Crosse.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, Flooding begins to threaten homes in the
  Shore Acres area. Water begins to impact homes and businesses
  along La Fond Avenue and Bainbridge Street on French Island. Water
  begins to go over the road at Copeland Park with some water into
  the ball parks. Water is near the bottom of the Pettibone Beach
  shelter and water is nearly over the road at Houska Park near the
  wastewater treatment plant. Water also begins to spread into
  Riverside Park.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:15 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 14.2 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 10.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 9:15 PM CDT Thursday was 14.2 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 14.2
    feet just after midnight tonight.
  - Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    14.1 feet on 06/26/1993.
