This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southeast
Minnesota...northeast Iowa and southwest into central Wisconsin.

Flooding continues along many area rivers. Please see the latest
flood statements for additional details.

Severe thunderstorms are possible tonight, with damaging winds
the primary threat. Additionally, severe hail and perhaps a
tornado cannot be ruled out.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

Flooding will continue along many area rivers. Please see the
latest flood statements for additional details.

Thunderstorm chances return Thursday night into Friday night, but
it is too early to determine any severe weather risk.

...FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT FROM 7 PM CDT THIS EVENING THROUGH LATE
TONIGHT...

* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.

* WHERE...In southeast Minnesota, Dodge, Fillmore, Houston, Mower,
  Olmsted, Wabasha and Winona Counties. In west central Wisconsin,
  Buffalo, Jackson, Juneau, La Crosse, Monroe, Trempealeau and
  Vernon Counties.

* WHEN...From 7 PM CDT this evening through late tonight.

* IMPACTS...Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.
  Area creeks and streams are running high and could flood with more
  heavy rain.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Additional heavy rain due to thunderstorms is possible this
    evening into tonight. One to three inches of rain with
    locally higher amounts is possible. Due to abundant recent
    rainfall, this additional rain may quickly lead to flash
    flooding.

  Mississippi River at McGregor affecting Grant, Clayton, Crawford
  and Allamakee Counties.

...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Minnesota...Wisconsin...Iowa...

  Mississippi River at La Crosse affecting Houston, Vernon and La
  Crosse Counties.

  Mississippi River at Guttenberg Dam 10 affecting Grant and
  Clayton Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
  forecast.

* WHERE...Mississippi River at La Crosse.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, Flooding begins to threaten homes in the
  Shore Acres area. Water begins to impact homes and businesses
  along La Fond Avenue and Bainbridge Street on French Island. Water
  begins to go over the road at Copeland Park with some water into
  the ball parks. Water is near the bottom of the Pettibone Beach
  shelter and water is nearly over the road at Houska Park near the
  wastewater treatment plant. Water also begins to spread into
  Riverside Park.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 11:15 AM CDT Monday the stage was 12.4 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 10.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 11:15 AM CDT Monday was 12.4 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.8
    feet early Friday afternoon.
  - Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    13.8 feet on 09/27/2010.
