Virginia.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

A marginal risk for severe weather exists Sunday and Sunday night.
Strong to severe thunderstorms associated with a cold front could
contain damaging winds and small hail.

There is a marginal risk for excessive rainfall Sunday into Sunday
night for heavy downpours associated with showers and strong to
severe thunderstorms. Localized water issues may be possible for
areas that see repeated rounds of heavy rainfall from more organized
convection.

* WHAT...Heat index values around 100.

* WHERE...Portions of northeast Kentucky, southeast Ohio, and
  central, northern, southern, and western West Virginia.

* WHEN...Until 8 PM EDT this evening.

* IMPACTS...Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat
  illnesses.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Young children and
pets should never be left unattended in vehicles under any
circumstances.

Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose
fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning
or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and
heat stroke.

To reduce risk during outdoor work, the Occupational Safety and
Health Administration recommends scheduling frequent rest breaks in
shaded or air conditioned environments. Anyone overcome by heat
should be moved to a cool and shaded location. Heat stroke is an
emergency! Call 9 1 1.
