...FLOOD WATCH FOR SNOWMELT REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH SUNDAY
MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by snowmelt continues to be possible.

* WHERE...A portion of the North Snowy Range Foothills near the town
  of Elk Mountain.

* WHEN...Through Sunday morning.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
  Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Warm temperatures are melting an abundant snowpack in the
    mountains and accelerating the runoff into rivers and
    streams. Overnight temperatures above freezing are rapidly
    melting the snowpack in the higher elevations above 9500
    feet. Local creeks and streams are running high.

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood

This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of panhandle
Nebraska...east central Wyoming...south central Wyoming and
southeast Wyoming.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

Thunderstorms will be on the increase this afternoon...initially
across Carbon and Albany Counties west of the Laramie Range. These
storms will move into eastern areas late this afternoon into the
evening hours. Initially high based...these storms will be capable
of strong to severe downburst winds to 50 to 60 mph.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY

Daily chances for afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms
continue this weekend through Monday.

.High temperatures have accelerated the mountain snowmelt in the
Snowy Range in Albany and Carbon Counties. Expect high water along
the Little Laramie River to persist through the weekend. High
temperatures are expected to persist for several more days. Abundant
snowpack in the higher elevations should provide ample water to
sustain the high flows.

...FLOOD WARNING FOR SNOWMELT IN EFFECT UNTIL 3 PM MDT SUNDAY...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by snowmelt is occurring.

* WHERE...Along the Little Laramie near the Vee-Bar Ranch and
  upstream and downstream of highway 130 in Albany County.

* WHEN...Until 300 PM MDT Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
  and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Streams
  continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 253 PM MDT, Emergency management reported flooding in the
    warned area. Flooding is already occurring.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Vee-Bar Ranch, Wild Horse Ranch, and Centennial.

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Stay away or be swept away. River banks and culverts can become
