The National Weather Service in Cheyenne has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Southeastern Laramie County in southeastern Wyoming...

* Until 800 PM MDT.

* At 457 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
  heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1.5 and 2.5 inches of
  rain have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
  shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
           areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
           other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Egbert, Carpenter and Pine Bluffs Municipal Airport.

This includes Interstate 80 in Wyoming between mile markers 390 and
399.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.

This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of panhandle
Nebraska...east central Wyoming...south central Wyoming and
southeast Wyoming.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

Severe thunderstorms possible this afternoon with hail, strong
winds, and heavy rainfall. Cannot rule out a tornado with any
longer track supercells that develop.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY

Severe thunderstorm potential continues Friday.

Hot temperatures are expected for Sunday through the middle of
next week. Highs exceeding 100F will be possible (40-60% chance)
particularly on Monday.
