This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of USVI.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

.Lightning....Isolated thunderstorms possible mainly across coastal
waters south and west of St Croix during the morning hours and late
afternoon and evening hours. Be aware of thunderstorms in your area
and be prepared to take shelter.

.Excessive Heat...This level of heat affects most individuals sensitive
to heat, especially those without effective cooling and/or adequate
hydration. Impacts possible in some health systems and in heat-sensitive
industries especially the coastal and urban areas of the island of
St Croix.

.Rip Currents...Life-threatening rip currents are possible in the
surf zone, particularly in beaches of Saint Croix.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday
Warm to hot conditions will continue into the weekend, with an
Excessive Heat Watch again possible by Friday as local easterly winds
will become more southeasterly and Saharan dust will spread across
the region once again. The rip current risk will be low for all
local beaches through the weekend.
