This hazardous weather outlook is for the northern Michigan
nearshore waters of Lake Huron, Lake Michigan and Lake Superior.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are expected across northern
Michigan through early this evening, including the potential for
isolated severe storms. Large hail and damaging winds are the
biggest threats. A tornado can not be ruled out.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Thunderstorm chances return early next week.

Blanc Island...
Lake Huron from 5NM east of Mackinac Bridge to Presque Isle Lt  to
the US/Canadian border beyond 5 NM from shore...
St Ignace to False Detour Channel...
Straits of Mackinac within 5 nm of Mackinac Bridge including Mackinac
Island...

At 431 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over Mackinac
Island, moving east at 30 knots.

HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater and small hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
         suddenly higher waves.

Locations impacted include...
Cheboygan, Mackinac Island, Bois Blanc Island, Saint Ignace, Saint
Martin Island, Gros Cap, Mackinac Bridge, Cecil Bay, Point Nipigon,
The Mackinac Bridge, Marquette Island, and Cordwood Point.

Move to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes.
