Hazardous fire weather conditions are expected this afternoon
into the evening across portions of north and central Georgia due
to low relative humidity, gusty winds, and/or dry fuels.


.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday...

Rounds of rain and possibly isolated thunderstorms are expected
Sunday through Tuesday, and again Friday. A light wintry mix may
occur in the mountains early Sunday morning, but there remains
considerable uncertainty regarding accumulations, if any at all.

...HIGH FIRE DANGER CONDITIONS THIS AFTERNOON INTO THE EVENING
FOR PARTS OF NORTH AND CENTRAL GEORGIA DUE TO LOW RELATIVE
HUMIDITIES AND/OR STRONG WINDS...

Relative Humidities of 25 percent or less can be expected for 4
or more hours this afternoon into the evening. Winds will be east
to southeast at 5 to 15 MPH. Across parts of north Georgia,
especially in the higher terrain, stronger sustained winds with
gusts up to 30 MPH are expected.

With dry fuels, high fire danger conditions can be expected.

Please refer to your local burn permitting authorities whether
you may burn outdoors. If you do burn outside, use extreme
caution.
