This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for north and central Georgia.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight...

A Freeze Warning is in effect for all of north and central
Georgia tonight through Tuesday morning. Please protect any
exposed pipes and bring in sensitive plants.

A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for the northeast Georgia
mountains through Tuesday morning where up to 1 inch of snowfall
is expected and may lead to slippery road conditions.

A Fire Danger Statement is in effect this afternoon and evening
for portions of central Georgia where a combination of low
humidities and gusty winds will lead to elevated fire conditions.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday...

Hazardous fire weather conditions may warrant another Fire Danger
Statement on Tuesday for dry fuels and low humidities.

No other hazardous weather is expected through Sunday.

EST TUESDAY...

* WHAT...Sub-freezing temperatures as low as 19 expected.

* WHERE...Portions of central, east central, northeast, southeast,
  and west central Georgia.

* WHEN...From 7 PM this evening to 10 AM EST Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Frost and freeze conditions could kill crops, other
  sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor
  plumbing.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold.

To prevent water pipes from freezing; wrap or drain or allow them to
drip slowly.

PARTS OF CENTRAL GEORGIA DUE TO LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITIES...

Relative Humidities of 25 percent or less can be expected for
several hours this afternoon into the evening. Winds will be NW
at 10-15 mph.

With dry fuels, high fire danger conditions can be expected.

Please refer to your local burn permitting authorities
whether you may burn outdoors.  If you do burn outside,
use extreme caution.
