This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of eastern West
Virginia, northern and central Virginia, and central and western
Maryland.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch is in effect for the central
Shenandoah Valley, central Virginia, and the Virginia Piedmont
until 9 PM. Damaging winds are the primary threat.

Elsewhere, an isolated severe storm capable of producing damaging
wind gusts is possible through this evening. An isolated instance
of flooding is possible during this time as well.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

Spotters should self activate and report any instances of severe
thunderstorm damage or flooding to the National Weather Service.
