...FIRE WEATHER WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM FRIDAY MORNING
THROUGH SATURDAY EVENING FOR HOT DRY AND WINDY CONDITIONS FOR THE
MATANUSKA VALLEY AND THE KNIK RIVER VALLEY...

* Winds...North 10 to 15 mph.

* Timing...Friday morning through Saturday evening

* Relative Humidity...As low as 15 to 25 percent.

* Temperatures...Daytime highs in the mid 70s.

* Location...Wasilla, Palmer, Matanuska Valley and Knik River
  Valley.

* Impacts...Rapid ignition, growth and spread of fires will be
  possible.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A fire weather watch means that critical fire weather conditions
are forecast to occur. It is directed toward fire agencies, and
through them to the public.
