...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 9 AM TO 9 PM AKST
SUNDAY FOR TURNAGAIN PASS AND THE PORTAGE VALLEY...

* WHAT...Blowing snow and snow expected. Total snow accumulations
  of 4 to 10 inches. Winds gusting as high as 55 mph.

* WHERE...Turnagain Pass and the Portage Valley.

* WHEN...From 9 AM to 9 PM AKST Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce
  visibility down to a half mile. Travel will be difficult.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A strong low pressure will move into the
  eastern Kenai Peninsula Sunday morning bringing snow and winds
  that will increase through the afternoon. The winds will slowly
  decrease by Sunday evening, however, the snow will continue
  through Monday.
