...STRONG WINDS AND PERIODS OF SNOW AND RAIN/SNOW MIX THROUGH
FRIDAY MORNING...

Gusty northerly winds will continue to increase through the day
today as an area of low pressure approaches from the south. Snow
will develop across the Bear Creek and Seward areas later this
morning. Snow may be heavy at times this afternoon with several
inches of snow accumulation possible. Temperatures are expected
to warm into the mid 30s by late Thursday afternoon. Any warmer
air will help to minimize the potential of blowing and drifting
snow due to the gusty winds. Warmer air may also allow for rain
to mix with the snow helping to reduce snowfall totals. Wind
gusts up to 50 mph are possible this afternoon and evening.
