* WHAT...Flooding caused by a glacier-dammed lake outburst is
expected.
* WHERE...Kennicott River near Near Mccarthy.
* WHEN...Until noon AKDT Sunday.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas is
likely.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 751 AM AKDT, river gauge reports indicate rises in water
levels from a glacier-dammed lake outburst near McCarthy.
Minor flooding is likely or expected to begin shortly,
especially along the Kennicott River near McCarthy.
- Inherent uncertainty in initial glacier lake volume will
result in varying crest height and timing.
