Tidal impacts may raise river levels further and intensify flooding in the areas around Bethel. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1016 PM AKDT, minor flooding was reported near the Kuskokwim River near Browns Slough, Oscarville, and near Napaskiak. The River Watch Team reported releases from upstream ice jams were causing the Kuskokwim River to rise quickly and additional flooding may be intensified through tonight as high tide impacts river levels. - For Kuskokwim River at Bethel: At 10:16 pm the stage was 9.91 feet. High water may continue to impact infrastructure and homes in Tuluksak. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1130 AM AKDT, the Riverwatch Team reported that the primary ice jam on the Kuskokwim River had released downstream of Akiak. High water from ice on the Kuskokwim River extended upstream to Kalskag.
