...BLIZZARD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON AKST FRIDAY FOR THE
COAST AND NUNIVAK ISLAND...

* WHAT...Blizzard conditions. Whiteout conditions occurring with
  visibilities frequently less than one quarter mile. Additional
  snow accumulations of up to 5 inches. Winds gusting as high as
  45 mph.

* WHERE...Along the coast and Nunivak Island.

* WHEN...Until noon AKST Friday.

* IMPACTS...Areas of blowing snow are creating whiteout
  conditions. The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 35 below
  zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 10
  minutes.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Blizzard Warning means severe winter weather conditions are
expected or occurring. Falling and blowing snow with strong winds
and poor visibilities are likely. This will lead to whiteout
conditions, making travel very hazardous. If you must travel,
have a winter survival kit with you.If you get stranded, stay
with your vehicle.
