Including Wainwright, Atqasuk, Point Lay, and Cape Lisburne

...WIND CHILL ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON AKST TODAY...

* WHAT...Very cold wind chills to 55 below zero.

* WHERE...Western Arctic Coast.

* WHEN...Until noon AKST Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...The dangerously cold wind chills could cause
  frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 10 minutes.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The strongest winds and coldest wind chills
  are occurring near Point Lay. Winds and wind chills are much
  less severe in other areas. Winds at Point Lay are expected to
  decrease late this morning, and wind chills will become less
  severe then.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Wind Chill Advisory means that cold air and sustained wind
speeds of 15 mph or more will create low wind chills. Frost bite
and hypothermia can occur if precautions are not taken.
