...Heavy Rain in the Koyukuk River Basin...

Rainfall of 2 to 5 inches will fall in the Koyukuk River Basin and
the south slopes of the Central Brooks Range by Saturday night.

The persistent rains will bring stream and creeks to bankfull
conditions, while rivers will see significant rises by Sunday.
Expect sandbars in most locations to be covered as the rivers
rise.

Outdoor recreators should keep a close watch on the rivers if they
are on or near them as they can rise rapidly as the runoff makes
its way into the mainstem rivers.
