The National Weather Service in Birmingham has extended the

* Flood Warning for...
  East central Cherokee County in northeastern Alabama...

* Until 315 PM CST Monday.

* At 1250 PM CST, reporting gauges continued to indicate high water
  levels along the Coosa River above Weiss Lake. These high water
  levels will continue to cause lowland flooding along the Coosa
  River above Weiss Lake.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Cedar Bluff, Eastern Weiss Lake, Waterhouse and Howells Crossroads.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
