DISCUSSION...
Hot and humid conditions are expected again this afternoon with
heat index values topping out in the upper 90s to near 100. In
addition, isolated thunderstorms are again possible in the higher
terrain of southeast Oklahoma and western Arkansas. Severe weather
is not anticipated, and any activity should diminish with sunset.

EXTENDED DISCUSSION...
Daily chances of showers and thunderstorms will continue much of this
week, Mostly over western Arkansas and far eastern Oklahoma
through mid week, then mainly across far northeast Oklahoma
Thursday and Friday. An increase in storm chances is possible by
early next week.
