This Outlook is for Northwest and West Central Arkansas as well as
much of Eastern Oklahoma.

.DAY ONE...This evening and tonight.

DANGEROUS HEAT.
RISK...Limited.
    AREA...Eastern Oklahoma and west central Arkansas.
    ONSET...Ongoing.

DISCUSSION...
Heat index values ranged from the mid 90s to around 100 degrees
across eastern Oklahoma and western Arkansas. The heat will
diminish toward sunset.

Isolated showers and perhaps a thunderstorm are possible across
far southeast Oklahoma through early evening. Coverage will be
very widespread, and any showers will diminish before sunset.

SPOTTER AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT ACTION STATEMENT...
Spotter Activation Not Expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.
MONDAY through WEDNESDAY...No Hazards.
THURSDAY through SATURDAY...Thunderstorm Potential.

EXTENDED DISCUSSION...

Hot and humid weather will persist through the first part of the
week, with heat index values climbing into the 100 to 105 degree
range for some portions of eastern Oklahoma and west central
Arkansas.

By Thursday, there will be a low potential for afternoon showers
and storms. The coverage will be very isolated and most areas
will not see any rain.
