This Outlook is for Northwest and West Central Arkansas as well as
much of Eastern Oklahoma.

AREA...Western Arkansas and Southeast Oklahoma.
ONSET...Ongoing.

DANGEROUS HEAT.
RISK...Limited.
AREA...Eastern Oklahoma and West Central Arkansas.
ONSET...Ongoing.

DISCUSSION...
Heat index values around 100 degrees will be common through early
evening across eastern Oklahoma and west central Arkansas.
Additionally, isolated thunderstorms will continue across
portions western Arkansas and southeast Oklahoma through early
evening. Any stronger storms could produce localized gusty winds.

Spotter Activation Not Expected.

THURSDAY...Thunderstorm Potential...Dangerous Heat Potential.

EXTENDED DISCUSSION...
Isolated to scattered afternoon and evening storms are expected
Saturday through Monday. Hot and humid conditions will persist
over the weekend with the heat intensifying early next week.
A prolonged period of hot temperatures is expected into next
weekend and heat advisories may be required. Low chances of
thunderstorms will be included Thursday as a weak cold front
attempts to push into the region.
