This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for a Large Part of Arkansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected throughout the
day today, especially across northern portions of Arkansas. While
severe weather is not anticipated, some thunderstorms could become
strong to marginally severe. Overall however, expect heavy
rainfall to be the main hazard, which could lead to localized
flooding.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

Continued chances of showers and thunderstorms will remain in the
forecast for much of the weekend and the first half of next week.
This unsettled weather will result in daily chances of showers and
thunderstorms which will likely contain deadly lightning. Widespread
severe weather is not expected, however isolated strong to severe
storms will be possible as well as isolated periods of flash
flooding.

.Spotter Information Statement...

Any severe weather will be spotty in the foreseeable future, so
spotter activation will not be needed.
