This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for a Large Part of Arkansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Winds will steadily increase through the afternoon and especially
tonight. Sustained speeds up to 20 mph and gusts up to 35 mph
will be widespread and could be hazardous for boaters and those
driving high profile vehicles. Locations above one-thousand feet
may see gusts of 40 mph or greater overnight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday Through Friday

As a cold front moves into the state on Sunday, showers and storms
will become more numerous. Severe storms will be possible over
much of the area outside northwestern Arkansas with damaging winds
and large hail as primary threats. An isolated tornado will also
be possible. Torrential rainfall may lead to flash flooding.

Strong and gusty winds will spread east Sunday morning into the
Mississippi River Delta region with sustained readings of 20 to 30
mph and gusts in excess of 30 mph, likely persisting through the
early evening hours.

Additional rainfall, some heavy, is expected through mid- week
and flash flooding will remain possible. Increasing flows on
area rivers may also become a concern over the southern half of
Arkansas, especially locations already at or above flood stage.

.Spotter Information Statement...

Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
