This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for a Large Part of Arkansas.

.DAY ONE...This evening Tonight

Precipitation will continue to become more scattered through the
evening hours in the wake of a strong cold front that is ushering
in air that is much colder than normal for this time of the year.

There will be a mix of snow and sleet across the northern half of
the state and there could be some additional, but very minor
accumulations, until the precipitations ends. Just a cold rain is
expected across the south.

Northerly at 15 to 25 mph with higher gusts will be possible
through through a good part of the night. These gusty winds with
very cold temperatures will produce wind chills in the single
digits and teens tonight into Tuesday morning. A few areas in the
higher elevations of the Ozarks may see wind chill values close to
zero.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday Through Sunday

Very cold temperatures will start the day on Tuesday, with lows in
the mid teens to mid 20s. Dangerous wind chill values in the
single digits and teens will be common as well. Be sure to bundle
up before heading outside for work or school.

The rest of the period will be dry with no hazardous weather
anticipated.

.Spotter Information Statement...

Spotter activation will not be needed.
