This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for a Large Part of Arkansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Hazardous weather is not expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday Through Thursday

Additional showers and thunderstorms will return to the forecast
this weekend into the first half of next work week. A few strong to
severe storms will be possible on Sunday along and ahead of an
advancing cold front. Large hail and damaging winds will be primary
concerns.

Rainfall may become heavy at times through mid-week, leading to
areas of flash flooding. This flash flooding threat should
increase early next week over portions of southern Arkansas as
several small systems move over the region and interact with
saturated or nearly saturated soils.

Increasing flows on area rivers may also become a concern,
especially those locations already at or above flood stage.

.Spotter Information Statement...

Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
