...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Arkansas...

  Ouachita River At Thatcher L&D affecting Bradley, Union and
  Calhoun Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

River forecasts are based on current conditions and rainfall
forecasted to occur over the next 24 hours. During periods of
flooding...Evening forecasts are reissued with updated rainfall
forecasts.

The Flood Warning continues for
  the Ouachita River At Thatcher L&D.
* Until further notice.
* At 8:30 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 84.3 feet.
* Flood stage is 79.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river is expected to fall to 79.1 feet Thursday
  morning.
* Impact...At 83.0 feet, Access to oil and gas rigs and to timber is
  flooded. Calhoun County Road 131 is completely under water leading
  to old Lock 8 river access.

  Ashley Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Do not drive cars through flooded areas.
Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

A Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring. All
interested parties should take necessary precautions immediately.

* Flood pool stage is 70 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Recent Activity...The maximum pool stage in the 24 hours ending at
  8:15 AM CDT Saturday was 73.2 feet.
* Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 74.0 feet
  early Monday afternoon.
* Impact...Minor lowland flooding to continue into early July.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of south central
Arkansas, southwest Arkansas, north central Louisiana, northwest
Louisiana, southeast Oklahoma, east Texas and northeast Texas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight...

No hazardous weather is expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday...

Isolated to widely scattered showers and thunderstorms will be
possible Sunday afternoon over Deep East Texas and Northcentral
Louisiana. While these storms will diminish Sunday evening with
the loss of heating, showers and thunderstorms will increase
Monday and Monday night ahead of an approaching upper level
disturbance and associated weak cool front. Isolated strong storms
will be possible Monday afternoon, with locally gusty winds and
heavy rainfall the main threats. These showers and thunderstorms
will diminish from north to south Tuesday, before the threat for
isolated storms return to Deep East Texas and North Louisiana
Wednesday through Friday as a more humid air mass returns back
north into the region.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Activation of emergency management personnel...amateur radio
operators...and storm spotters will not be needed through tonight.
