This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for a Large Part of Arkansas.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

Gusty winds will continue through the overnight hours but they
will not nearly as strong as what was experienced during the day
Wednesday, West to northwest winds of 20 to 30 mph will be common
this evening with higher gusts likely with the winds slowly
slackening by morning.

Meanwhile, some of the higher elevations across north-central
Arkansas may see a rain/snow mix through early Thursday morning as
colder air interacts with lingering moisture. However, no impacts
are expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

Very dry air will be in place off an on into the weekend...with
limited chances for widespread rainfall. This will keep the wild
fire threat elevated to high at times.

Chances for showers and thunderstorms are forecast for Sunday into
Sunday night as a cold front moves through the state. An isolated
strong to severe thunderstorm may be possible...but the overall
threat for seeing organized severe weather looks uncertain at this
time.

.Spotter Information Statement...

Spotter activation will not be needed.
