...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 915 PM MST THIS
EVENING FOR NORTHEASTERN PIMA COUNTY...

At 831 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms that produced
heavy rain across  Oro Valley and the Catalina Foothills have
weakened in intensity with lighter rain persisting. Between 1 and
1.5 inches of rain have fallen. Flooding impacts will continue, but
only minor rainfall is expected. Flash flooding is ongoing or
expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
         flash flooding.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
         urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Tucson, Catalina, Oro Valley, Casas Adobes, Flowing Wells,
  Tortolita, Catalina State Park, Catalina Foothills and Sabino
  Canyon Recreation Area.

This includes Route 77 between mile markers 71 and 87.

This includes the following Flash Flood Prone Locations...
1st Ave north of Fort Lowell Rd, Overton Rd at Canada del Oro,
Snyder Rd from Kolb Rd to Sabino Canyon Rd and E Wilds Rd at the
Canada del Oro.

This includes the following streams and drainages...
  Pantano Wash, Tanque Verde Wash, Rillito River, Bird Canyon, Santa
  Cruz River, Esperero Wash, Oro, Caada del, Sutherland Wash, Chalk
  Creek, Ventana Canyon Wash, Sabino Creek, Big Wash and Chirreon
  Wash.

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

  Southwestern Pinal County in southeastern Arizona...

* Until 1100 PM MST.

* At 804 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
  between 1 and 2 inches of rain across the northern portions of the
  Tohono O`odham Nation. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to
  begin shortly, especially along the drainages that fill into the
  Sil Nakya Wash, Santa Rosa Wash and Aguirre Wash.

  HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms
           producing flash flooding.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
           urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Anegam, North Komelik, Kohatk, Sil Nakya and Jack Rabbit.

  Mountain and Oro Valley. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to
  begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms
           producing flash flooding.

  IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
           urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

  between 1 and 2 inches of heavy rain across the northern portions
  of the Tohono O`odham Nation. Flash flooding is ongoing or
  expected to begin shortly, especially along the dranages that fill
  into Viopuli Wash and San Vicente Washes that eventually drain
  into Aguirre Wash.

  HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms
           producing flash flooding.

  IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
           urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.
