The National Weather Service in Tucson has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  North Central Pima County in southeastern Arizona...

* Until 745 PM MST.

* At 653 PM MST, a severe thunderstorm was located 12 miles north of
  San Isidro, moving northwest at 15 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and small hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  San Isidro, Queens Well, Comobabi, Cababi, South Comobabi, Sil
  Nakya, Santa Rosa Ranch, San Luis - Sells District, Rincon and
  Sikul Himathk.

This includes Route 86 between mile markers 94 and 98...and
between mile markers 125 and 130.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead
to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

The National Weather Service in Tucson has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  North Central Pima County in southeastern Arizona...

* Until 945 PM MST.

* At 648 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
  between 1 and 2 inches of heavy rain across the northern portions
  of the Tohono O`odham Nation. Flash flooding is ongoing or
  expected to begin shortly, especially along the dranages that fill
  into Viopuli Wash and San Vicente Washes that eventually drain
  into Aguirre Wash.

  HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms
           producing flash flooding.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
           urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  San Pedro, Queens Well and Santa Rosa Ranch.

This includes Route 86 near mile marker 141.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of South Central Arizona, including the
  following county, central Pima.

* WHEN...Until 815 PM MST.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
  Water over roadways.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 618 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of
    rain have fallen.
  - This includes the following streams and drainages...

  possible.

* WHERE...A portion of Southeast Arizona, including the following
  areas, Baboquivari Mountains, Catalina and Rincon Mountains,
  Chiricahua Mountains, Dragoon and Mule and Huachuca and Santa Rita
  Mountains, Eastern Cochise County below 5000 feet, Tohono O`odham
  Nation, Tucson Metro Area, Upper San Pedro River Valley and Upper
  Santa Cruz River Valley/Altar Valley.

* WHEN...From noon MST today through this evening.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
  Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Low-water
  crossings may be flooded.
