...FROST ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 AM PDT MONDAY...
...WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 5 PM MONDAY TO 5 PM PDT TUESDAY...

* WHAT...For the Frost Advisory, temperatures as low as 30 will
  result in frost formation. For the Wind Advisory, southerly
  winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 35 to 45 mph, locally up to
  50 mph.

* WHERE...Portions of the Sacramento Valley, Northeast Foothills
  and Motherlode.

* WHEN...For the Frost Advisory, until 9 AM PDT Monday. For the
  Wind Advisory, from 5 PM Monday to 5 PM PDT Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Frost could kill sensitive outdoor vegetation if left
  uncovered. Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects.
  Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may
  result.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Cold temperatures Monday morning will allow
  for areas of frost. Gusty southerly winds will develop Monday
  evening and persist into Tuesday. Strongest winds are expected
  Monday night through mid-day Tuesday, and in the northern
  Sacramento Valley and adjacent foothills.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high
profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects.

Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold.
