...Critical Fire Weather Conditions for Portions of Interior
Northern California...

.Dry, gusty north to northeast winds, low humidity and unseasonably
dry fuels will result in critical fire weather conditions over
portions of the Central Valley, Delta and surrounding foothills
this weekend into Monday. The strongest winds will likely occur
on the west side of the Sacramento Valley.

ZONES 213, 215, 216, 217, 218, 219, 220, 263, 266, 267, AND
279...

The National Weather Service in Sacramento has issued a Fire
Weather Watch, which is in effect from Saturday morning through
Monday afternoon.

* AFFECTED AREA...Fire weather zone 213.Fire weather zone
  215.Fire weather zone 216.Fire weather zone 217.Fire weather
  zone 218.Fire weather zone 219.Fire weather zone 220.Fire
  weather zone 263.Fire weather zone 266.Fire weather zone
  267.Fire weather zone 279.

* WIND...North to northeast 10 to 20 mph with local gusts up to 35
  mph or higher. Strongest winds expected west of Interstate 5
  and along the lower foothills of the Coastal Range.

* HUMIDITY...Minimum daytime humidity in the single digits to
  teens. Poor to moderate humidity recovery overnight.

* IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly.
  Outdoor burning is not recommended.

A Fire Weather Watch means that critical fire weather conditions
are forecast to occur. Listen for later forecasts and possible
Red Flag Warnings.
