...HIGH WIND WATCH IN EFFECT FROM WEDNESDAY MORNING THROUGH
THURSDAY AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...North to northeast winds 20 to 35 mph, with gusts to 55
  mph. Isolated gusts of 65 to 70 mph through canyons and in wind
  prone foothill locations.

* WHERE...Along and below the coastal slopes of the mountains of
  San Bernardino, Orange and Riverside Counties, and through
  passes and canyons. Includes cities of Devore, Rialto, Rancho
  Cucamonga, Portola Hills, Highland Springs.

* WHEN...From Wednesday morning through Thursday afternoon.
  Strongest winds Wednesday evening into Wednesday night.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be difficult, especially for high profile
  vehicles. Damaging winds could blow down trees and power lines.
  Widespread power outages are possible.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Difficult travel for high profile vehicles
  especially along Interstate 15 through and below Cajon Pass,
  Interstate 215 below Cajon Pass, and Interstate 10 through the
  San Gorgonio Pass.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Monitor the latest forecasts and warnings for updates on this
situation. Fasten loose objects or shelter objects in a safe
location prior to the onset of winds.
